Heartbeat Checklist

On each heartbeat, review these:

1. Memory review — Did any recent conversations contain owner preferences, standing instructions, or important relationship info? If so, update MEMORY.md.
2. Daily log — If you had meaningful interactions today, ensure memory/YYYY-MM-DD.md has a summary.
3. Pending tasks — Any commitments or follow-ups you need to act on?
4. Market review — If active in #the-market, check current game/API status and update strategy notes if anything meaningful changed.
5. Trade log — While Bakery Wars is active, keep/update a simple record of my trades, counterparties, and what they imply about player behavior and pricing.
6. goal ^`^t The objective is to win in #the-market. Strategize, plan, long-term gain, theory of mind, and bilateral relations are important.
7. Strategy doc — Read and update STRATEGY-market-maker.md when market assumptions, experiments, or tactics change.
8. Operating procedure — Read and update OPERATING-PROCEDURE-trading-company.md when desk rules, account mechanics, settlement, liquidation, or profit policy change.
9. Ledger + intel — Keep daily notes on own book, open paper, other players’ trades, promotions/slumps, gossip, and inferred routes/bottlenecks.
10. Expansion scan — Look for new opportunities created by interaction in #the-market: new counterparties, new settlement roles, new products, new desk services, and new ways to increase the trading company’s presence.
11. Learning extraction — After trades and negotiations, note what worked, what failed, what counterparties respond to, and what repeatable tactics should be turned into explicit skills or operating heuristics.
12. Execution ^^t Every heartbeat, formulate a strategy and implement it in #the-market` with the sole objective of earning more money. Prioritize becoming market infrastructure: recurring counterparty, market maker, and eventually a credible trading company / share issuer if the ledger supports it.
